HARRY'S HAUNTED HOUSE TIMES THREE

Reg Parlett  was an extraordinary gifted cartoonist whose drawings had the knack of looking funny even if nothing particularly funny was actually happening.  Expression, posture, attitude, demeanour, his characters just oozed humour.  Alan Clark, the editor of Golden Fun  fanzine, tried his best to get Reg  recognised by "The Palace", but sadly it never happened and Reg  went to the great beyond without ever getting a gong from the Queen.  Many people who receive O.B.E.s are unworthy, but Reg  worked in comics for around 66 years, entertaining successive generations of children (and adults) and would most certainly have been a worthy recipient of such an accolade.  Reg  died in 1991.

Here are the first three Harry's Haunted House  strips from Whizzer And Chips  1-3, published in October 1969.  If your "chuckle-muscles" are in need of a workout, these three examples will do the job admirably.
