Thor and The X-Men is hardly the most inspired name for a comic mag, is it? True, it's the most obvious and direct title for a periodical featuring Thor and The X-Men, but it's pretty unimaginative, huh? Not that Marvel UK had much choice I guess, considering that the named stars had started out in individual weeklies bearing their own monikers, but I'd have considered relaunching the first combined issue under a more encompassing title... something like "Marvel Mega-Heroes". Then they could've rotated different strips from time to time in an attempt to sustain reader interest whenever it seemed to be dropping off. However, what's done is done, and 20 issues later, the comic itself was done.
Never mind though, at least we can look back on some nice covers and remember a time when Marvel UK was doing its best to keep the youth of Britain entertained. (Even if they did put the wrong year on the final issue.)
